    Mrs. Milo (Irene) Graff, 83, of Granville died unexpectly Saturady, April 22, 1995, at the Happy Siesta Retirement Home in Remsen, Iowa.

    Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Granville with the Rev. Clem Currans officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday at the church, with a 5 p.m.rosary by the Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters of American and a vigil prayer service at 8 p.m. Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen is in charge of arrangements.

    She was born Nov. 13, 1911, in rural McNally, Sioux County, Iowa, the daughter of James and Johanna (Downs) O'Mera. She was raised in the McNally area, attending rural school in the Ireton (Iowa) area and graduating from St. Mary'sAcademy in Alton, Iowa, in 1929. She then attended State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, Iowa and taught rural school near Ireton until her marriage to Milo Graff Jan. 2, 1934, in Hawarden, Iowa. The couple farmed near Granville. Sheresumed her teaching career in the late 1950's teaching at Calumet, St. Mary's in Remsen, and later St. Joseph's in Granville, retiring in the late 1970's. They moved to Granville in 1966. Mr. Graff died Feb. 15, 1972. Mrs. Graff hasbeen a resident of the Happy Siesta Retirement Home in Remsen since March 9, 1995.

    Mrs. Graff was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the church Guild, Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters of Americ, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Granville Senior Citizens and past president and past member of the Granville Town Council,and was a local newspaper correspondent for several years.

    Survivors include four daughters, Patricia and her husband, Don Schiltz of Remsen, Mary Ellen heying of Granville, Jolene and her husband, Ted DeVries of Dakota Dunes, S.D., Juliann and her husband Mark Dehner of Las Vegas, Nev.; foursons, Kenneth and his wife, Lois of Lake City, Iowa, Bruce of Decorah, iowa, Eugene and his wife, Linda of Spring Hills, Fla, and Milo and his wife, Jeannie of Alton, Iowa; 35 grandchildren; 7 ste-grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren;four sisters, Eva conway of fullerton, Calif., Catherine LaVelle of Sioux City, Josephine Bandy of Dallas, Texas, and Pauline Petterson of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, John and his wife Mary of De Kalb, Ill., and Bob of Sioux Falls, S.D.

    She was preceded in death by three sons, John, Douglas and Phillip in infancy; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Durette Ney, Bess Leonberger, helen Dunkeson and Cecelia Goergen; and five brothers, Francis, Clint, Leonard, Mike andPaul.

    Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
