Her parents were George Washington Bays and Sarah May Bays. George Bays was a Baptist minister and fought in the Civil War for the Union. Martha had 5 children - Ida Ellen Reynolds Rainey Scales, Sarah M. Reynolds Mineer Hunnefeld, William Reynolds, George Reynolds, and Nora Reynolds Pollitt Cassidy.

I am the granddaughter of James Roy Clary born Nov 1887 (I believe) who you have listed as Roy J Clary along with his sisters, Grace, Bertha, Rosetta and Edna, who I remember very well. I was not able to know my gradfather as he passed away before I was born. My grandfather's father was James Albert (or possibly James Alfred) Clary. Thank you for this wonderful site! PS. Found your website very interesting. I am compiling information on the Conn family and hopefully the information will be passed on to future generations of Conn's. Not much information prior to Samuel but still leaves much to the imagination. I have a son and he has a son to carry on the Conn name.
