Payne Cemetery - is located in Thornton, Taylor County, West Virginia. Approaching Thornton from the west via rt. 50, there is an abandoned ceramic shop on the right side of the road (may be at the end of the Thornton bridge). Directly opposite the store there is an unmarked road that leads to the Payne Cemetery at the top of the hill
